The wonderful thread on celebrities you hate made me want to start one about celebrities you absolutely love!

I've had a major crush on Christian Bale since I was 12 (Newsies anyone?). Love love love him. I mean, I have no idea what he's like in real life, but just from movies I love him. He's just so darn attractive! (and British

)

I also have a strange crush on Paul Rudd that I can't figure out. He's not a heart throb or anything, but he's so cute and so funny.

I love Di Niro and Pacino and all of their mafia movies.

I'm kind of at a loss for actresses right now, though I know there are some out there that I love. I'm not sure why I can't think of any right now! Oh, I like Rachael Weisz, but she's the only one I can think of at the moment.

Haha, I have never met anyone else who loves Andy Garcia! I love him in the Godfather III even though Sophia Coppola is terrible in all of their scenes (I guess that''s why she turned to directing).

I love Paul Rudd too, Elrohwen. I also love Will Smith. Both of them seem like they''d be very nice and fun to hang out with. I can''t think of any other guys at the moment, but I''m sure I''ll think of them as this thread gets going. Ooh, TR Knight (George on Grey''s) is on my list of faves also. I think it''s because I love his character on the show. I prefer the teddy bear types as opposed to the hot ones like Derek or McSteamy.

For girls, I really like Reese Witherspoon. I love her movies and again, she seems like she''d be fun to hang out with. She seems really sweet. Sandra Bullock is the same way (at least she seems that way).

Faith Hill and Tim McGraw seem like a great couple. I like everything I''ve seen them in (like concerts on tv, interviews, etc.).

One of my least fave actresses has already been mentioned several times.

I love the entire cast of the office, but most of all Jenna Fischer, Steve Carrell, Rainn Wilson and Angela Kinsey. They are just the sweetest people, and so funny. John Krasinski makes me swoon a little bit (okay, a lot bit--definitely my biggest celeb crush).

I also adore Paul Rudd, elrohwen. Love him. He simply makes me laugh.

Reese Witherspoon is another incredibly kind and magnanimous person. She really treats her coworkers with kindness and respect.

Michael Cera. Oh man is that kid hilarious. While I'm on him, Jason Bateman.

Kristin Chenoweth. Love her. Love to watch her, love to listen to her (well, her musical theatre stuff, not her pop stuff... I just think her voice isn't suited for pop.)

Amy Adams[/i] is completely fab, in my opinion. She's incredibly talented, and just oh-so-likable.

I feel the same way. I have never bought any of her CDs but I do like her music. But my real attraction to her is based on her as a human being. I''ve always felt so bad about how she is hounded by the paparazzi 24/7, more than any celeb, and I found myself starting to be like HOLY CRAP, LEAVE HER ALONE. I remember Perez Hilton used to rag on her non-stop, and then one day he posted a video because he saw her driving through L.A. with a field of paps behind her. He said he felt bad for her, and he stopped posting about her almost entirely. Poor girl can''t do ANYTHING without being hounded, which is what I think drove her crazy. I don''t know if you watched her documentary on MTV, but it kind of confirmed what I already knew--that she''s extremely lonely despite there being someone around her at all times. There is social loneliness and emotional loneliness. Social loneliness is physically being alone, which she is obviously not. But emotional loneliness comes from a lack of intimate relationships in your life, and I think she suffers from that. It''s extremly common actually. Since my family lives in another state, I almost feel like I can relate to her. Her life is one big puppet show and she is the main star, working for everyone else. It''s very sad. And when that whole head-shaving fiasco went on I got really scared for her. Thank goodness things are getting back to normal, but I can still see that loneliness in her eyes.

Anyway.....

How did I not know The Shape of Things was a play?! I loved Paul Rudd in The Shape of Things movie and I''m jealous you saw him in the play!
