Are the fingers of one of your hands bigger than the other?

My right hand ring finger is 1/2 to 3/4 size larger than my left hand ring finger.

Right hand is a 6. Left hand is a 5-5.25. I am right handed.

This weekend, I was disappointed to find out that my right hand is between 3-3.25, which is bigger than my left hand (between 2.25-2.5). I suppose I shouldn''t have been surprised but I really thought that my right hand was under 3. Guess all rings will need to stay on their respective fingers!

This thread is freaking me out. I''m about to buy an e-ring but the only ring my GF has is worn on her right hand. Should I size down for the e-ring?

I''m about a quarter size/half size smaller on my left hand. I never knew about this phenomenon either until my fiance told me that it is true for most people. Apparently, the jeweler who made my e-ring told him that!

Yes, my right hand''s fingers are larger by about 1.25. Luckily I''m not into RHRs so switching my rings around isn''t something I ever have wanted to do.

my right fingers are ~1/4 - 1/2 size larger...

I must be weird, because even though I am right handed the fingers on my left hand are bigger by at least a full size. Maybe because I am a musician and my left hand gets quite a work out? I guess playing the viola makes your fingers meaty...

Yes, unfortunately. I can''t wear my LHR on my RH and vice versa. LH ring finger is a 4.5 scant and RH ring finger is 5.25. My right hand is my dominant one, so I think this may be the problem

Does this mean my LH is submissive

Nevermind, I''ll show myself out...

Yup, left hand is a 6.25, right is a 7.

Yeah!

I don''t mind the size difference. . .it''s the knuckles that get me. I wish I could get knuckle reduction surgery so my hands weren''t so bony. lol (Since my right hand is bigger, the knuckles on that side seem to better suit that hand. It''s not like I have a freaky skeletal left hand, it''s just that the right hand "fits better" with the build.)

Nope. My fingers are the same size on both hands, so I can wear my rings on either the left or right. On my wedding day, I wore my e-ring on the right hand, so DH could put the band on by itself.

my right is a hair bigger, but I can switch rings back and forth still.
Ditto.

its strange. i seem to have the opposite problem!

so i''ve heard that your dominant hand (mine is my right hand) is usually a tad larger than your other hand (left). but for some reason, my right hand is 5.5-5.75 and my left hand is 6-6.25!! my right ring finger is almost a full size smaller than my left (depending on the weather..hehe)!

I know its not a HUGE difference, but i wish it were the other way around so that when I have a pretty diamond on my left ring finger it''ll look bigger on my skinnier finger! hahahaah. its all about the diamond size to finger size ratio!!! heeheh

(did this make any sense?! hehehe)

I have the same issue, WP. My left hand ring finger is an 8 and my left is a 6.5. And I''m right-handed. I wish it were the opposite since I like the way my rings look in my right hand much more than my left.

My right hand is a 4.75 to 5 and my left hand is 4.25 to 4.5 (both vary depending on heat and humidity conditions). My right hand is dominant.

My right hand is about 1/4-1/2 size larger than my left.

Yep, same problem here. Can''t even get my L hand rings past my R ring finger knuckle...

Nope, same size for me. Both my RHR and LHR are size 4.5.

My left ring fingers are almost a half size smaller than my right hand ones. I wear a 5.5 (could go down to a 5.25 in colder weather) on my left ring finger and a 6 on my right one.

Well, my hands used to be within a 1/2 size of each other (left ring 5.5, right ring 6)...

And then I hurt my hand... the BF affectionately has called them sausage fingers ever since : (

It''s healing, slowly, but wow... I miss being able to wear my rings on both hands. Hopefully it''ll completely heal so I can go back to that luxury! Guess I''ll appreciate their closeness a lot more afterwards : )
