I'm back again with another question for you guys! As you may recall, I am trying to decide on a RHR setting for a slightly elongated antique cushion. Victor will be creating the setting, and I am currently torn between a 5-stone with trapezoids and bullets or Victor's amazing Vintage French Halo. I love both settings and am just trying to decide if the 5-stone would look too "engagementy" to be a viable RHR. If so, that makes the decision quite easy!
I just haven't seen many 5-stone rings of this type, so I am not sure how they are typically worn. I can definitely picture the Vintage French Halo as a RHR, but I am less familiar with the 5-stone. If it really is perceived as more "engagementy" then perhaps I can save this idea and spring for an alternate e-ring at some point. All opinions are welcome, so please feel free to let me know what you think!!
Here are some photos of the two settings I am thinking about. Just to be clear, the first 5-stone posted below is one of Leon's but I will be having Victor create his version of this. The second photo is Victor's Vintage French Cut Halo. Victor has a beautiful five-stone with an emerald cut center on his site so I am posting that for reference as well, but I think it is helpful to envision the center stone, so I wanted to include Leon's photo as well, as this is more representative of the type of center stone I would be using.
