Appraisal - Stone Removal ?

Is there a need for the stone to be removed during an independent appraisal of an e-ring ? Just checkin''. Thx.

dpends on why you want the appraisal. isn''t yours just a plain four prong? sometimesthe appraiser will be able to do it. call him.

Most appraisers can work around a mounted stone.

If you characterize a loose diamond appraisal as a "100% appraisal", I would characterize a mounted diamond appraisal as a "93% appraisal", adequate for most purposes.
