do most jewelers let you get a stone appraised before purchasing? how would i arrange this?
in my "want it NOW" moment, we put down a deposit on a stone and then i just remembered this *minor* detail.
and if it isn''t common for jewelers to let you appraise it before you purchase it...if the appraised value is grossly smaller than what you paid, does the consumer have any recourse?
