I have a budget of about $2500 total including the setting and this is pretty much everything I need. Just wondering if I could do better with my money.

Is Whiteflash reputable? Should I verify the diamond with an independent appraiser? I''m pretty new to this but I''m learning a lot as I go along!

WF is very repuatble . . . if money were really tight, I''d be comfortable taking their word . . . having said that, we did take our diamond to an appraiser and will be back to have him give us a full appraisal. This was for our own peace of mind and we could afford the $150 for the full 2 appraisal meetings.
