Anyone watching “Sharp Objects”on HBO?

The chief is an idiot. I don't like him at all. What the hell is with him and Adora?
 
The detective thinks they're all loons. :lol:
 
So what did you think of the ending? Amma is crazier than her mother. And now she's living with Camille! :eek2: Did the dad know anything or was he totally oblivious?

I'd read the book, so no surprises. I enjoyed the series.
 
My boyfriend and I were so speechless at the end of the final episode. I'm glad we were because instead of rushing to turn it off we saw the "bonus clip" which gave some closure. Still have so many questions.
 
The book was waaaaaay too scary for me. You’re all quite brave to watch the show! :)
 
We just started watching this show the other night. LOVE it so far. Up to episode 5. Cannot wait to see the drama unfold.:appl:

I couldn’t take waiting each week for the next episode so around ep 6, I went and ordered the book. I enjoyed reading it.

Does anyone remember if there are 7 or 8 episodes in this series? I DVR the series and have 7 episodes and read somewhere there are 8. Haven’t started watching the series yet.

I *think* there are 8 episodes.

I wish I saw this thread when my husband and I were watching it..It was so loony crazy we had to keep watching it to see where it would end! I didn’t see the bonus clip at the end. I know some of you haven’t seen it so I guess I’ll google what was in it because we watched the last episode already.

Callie do you have HBO? If you do just use HBO GO. That’s how we’re watching it. I missed it when it first aired so catching up with HBO GO.
 
We do, but the last episode isn’t on the “On Demand”. I’ll check later in the week to see if it’s been added.

I watched one episode and I’m thinking it may be a little too dark. My husband said it kind of reminds him of True Detective.
 
Wow, we just finished watching it. LOVED it.

There are 8 episodes with the last one called "Milk" and then there is an extra short one called "Beyond the Dollhouse" if you want more. All on HBO Go. Really well done and cannot wait to read the book. Though I know too much now. I prefer going into a movie or book not knowing the ending but if I wait long enough maybe I'll forget.:cheeky:

Anyway a thumbs up from me for this series.
 
Just chatted with one of my closest friends and he mentioned he didn’t care for “Sharp Objects”. Turns out he missed the ending and that’s why the story fell flat for him. So wanted to add this here. Please watch the rolling credits after you think episode 8 is over. Cause it’s not. Wait and watch and be surprised. ;)2
