Anyone tried on wedding dresses at Saks??

If so, did they let you take pics or anything or are they pretty strict?? Anything I should expect, should I bring a bra/ shoes with me?? Thanks!

I tried on dresses at Saks in NYC (literally on 5th Ave) and in Costa Mesa, CA. They should have a bra for you if you want a longline one but I just brought my own strapless and I brought my own shoes to better judge my height in the dresses. I''m not sure if they would provide you a pair of heels but I don''t like wearing other people''s shoes anyways, so I brought some.

As far as strictness it might just depend on the person helping you. In NYC my friend was really excited about taking pictures and the woman helping us just said not to let her see us doing it -- kind of the don''t ask don''t tell policy. In California I didn''t have a friend along and the SA was with me at all times so I didn''t take any pictures.

I''m not sure which Saks you''re going to but I was a little disappointed with the selection at the Saks on 5th Avenue. I guess I just figured they''d have a TON of dresses at their flagship store but they didn''t have several that I had specifically wanted to try on. Luckily I also went to Kleinfeld''s that day and they have pretty much everything you could want. I called the Costa Mesa store before I went to make sure they had the specific dress I wanted to try on and they did. I ended up buying my dress there in September but WARNING, the bridal shop in that store is closing and they''re taking orders up until January 1 or thereabouts. I''m trying to be cool about it since my wedding is in May 09 and they said everything will be normal, but it''s kind of nerve wracking!
