Hello all. I’m new around here. I hope I’m posting this in the right section. I found a wedding band online and fell absolutely in love with it. I ordered it and now I’m patiently (okay, not really lol) awaiting it’s arrival. I was just curious if any of you jewelry knowledgeable people have any ideas about maybe when it was made, the name of the pattern etched on it, the hallmark, ect.? Thank you in advance!
Lohengrin started designing rings in 1871, they are known for their bands and made them in both 14 and 18K gold. This one may date to the 30's-40's it's really pretty!
A quick Google search didn't give much information but if you do some digging on Lohengrin you may find out more.
ETA: @stracci2000 we were posting at the same time! I did have an eternity Lohengrin but I sold it last year, if you can find a Lohengrin with diamonds they are usually single cuts, very high quality but you don't find the diamond bands often.
