Anyone have the Apple iPod Touch newest 4th Generation?

I know that DD wants the newest iPod Touch, but I don't know whether to get her the 8 or 32G version. Is bigger capacity always better? Thinking about giving it to her for her 18th birthday rather than a Christmas present (Bday is in December).

I do! I recommend the 32G, once you start putting pictures, taking videos, adding movies etc. it adds up and the extra space is nice to have...

I have 32 gigs on mine, and I intentionally went for the largest I could afford because my music collection in itself is over 15gigs.

Knowing my DD she'll probably keep this one for a while. She is too cheap to keep replacing it. So I'll get the 32GB. Thanks.

It was so much easier to buy gifts when she was younger. Each year it gets tougher and tougher.

I have the 3rd generation and looked at the new ones yesterday. They are great. I would get her the larger hard drive.

Yes, DD wants the 32G. She saw me looking at them online yesterday and I explained that her dad wants an iPod because we can use it in 2 of our cars. So DH is getting the iPod classic (160GB) for Christmas and DD will get the 32G touch. (she kept fawning over it so she thinks she may get it for Xmas, but I am getting it for her birthday.

I still need suggestions for her for Christmas. iTunes gift cards??

Ok, so I ordered the Ipod Touch 4th Generation 32G online yesterday at Target. Price was $299.99 bundled with Bose ear buds ($90 value) and free shipping.

Is it worth getting her an iTunes gift card as well? What amount would you recommend?
