Anyone have experience using IDL?

Hi guys,

I was gifted a Ceylon sapphire from my father. It comes with a coloured stone report from IDL (International Diamond Laboratories), based out of Dubai. I haven't had a chance to see this stone in person and don't have good pictures of it either.

Has anyone dealt with this lab? Just wondering how truth-worthy the report is. Attached is the certificate my father received from them.

I don't know how reliable they are for coloured stones but know that they have a US based office. That is a good sized sapphire and the report looks very new (March 2014). Congrats on the family gift.

I had my father get a certificate for it, but he got it after he bought the stone. I've just never really heard of them, and don't know if the lab is rigorous in its testing.
