These are pics of my 4 ct M (on my ring finger), a loose 7 ct N and an 6.7 ct OP in the asymmetric setting. Irl, the N and OP were just a hair more tinted than my M.
Seeing the 6.7 ct stone made me widen my search to include OP color stones.
How deep is the stone that your are considering?

Thank you for showing me you beautiful warmer stones! The stone I’m considering is a 56.2% depth.
Mine is an O/P but it’s a Crown Jubilee cut, not an OEC.
I love that cut! It’s so fun!
OMC, same stone, but in rose gold v platinum and different lighting.
So beautiful! I love it in both settings! I wasn’t sure how tinted an OP would look in different metals so this was quite helpful!

56.2% is spready like my 4.11 ct so the stone should face you whiter due to the depth. Just make sure that the center still lively!

I have just passed on a 3ct OEC of N for same reason - not sure how it shows up in daylight
Aww… that’s too bad. Was the vendor not able to get pics or video of the stone in daylight? I have an N OMC and it usually shows up as “antique lace” color in daylight. There ARE a few instances where it shows more tint but it’s usually quite bright in most lighting. I think it’s pretty well cut for an old cut so it picks up a lot of the surrounding color and that’s what contributes most to how tinted it looks under any given light.

It was a local public auction. The indoor yellow lights in the function room didn’t help at all

My 3.63 ct OEC is graded O-P. The 2.45 ct Rosie next to her is graded K.

Mine is a transitional cut and is set in yellow gold to enhance the color. It was sold to me as an O-P-Q but the jeweler who set it estimated M-N so who knows. I often see a pretty, buttery, warm color but in some lights it is just a soft white.

In case anyone is interested, I got my ring! Husband totally shocked me with it. It’s a GIA 1.91 N VS2 oec. I am in love with the blend of old and modern.
