I love the last bev k! I know, it is madness. I tell myself that metal doesn''t last forever so I''ll get a new setting periodically anyway

hahahha, I like that saying Shimmer....I might have to borrow it!

Leon quoted a project for me, using a .71 asscher diamond, and had no problem with it at all. I changed my mind and didn''t go with it, but he was wonderful to work with.

I''m looking forward to seeing your new ring!!!! Awesome diamond!!!!

I'm sooo excited! I just purchased a .71 OEC, G color,
...

I hate to say it, but I fear he may not want to bother with my OEC.
I've hear a rumor that he doesn't tend to work with anything smaller than 1.5ct, but I could have misinterpreted the posts that I thought were suggesting that.

Something about his setting styles better suiting larger proportions. It may have been about some specific settings, though.

That said, I could've sworn I'd actually seen something more along the lines of a 1ct. by him somewhere on PS....
Nope as far as I know that is baloney, my diamond is currently there and it is 1.37cts :), I think it might have just been a rumour.
Wasn't trying to spread any "baloney," that's why I said I could have misinterpreted the posts that gave me that impression.

ETA: I think that this is one of the threads I was thinking of.

Jetmal-

I love the 3rd BK setting you posted alot for your gorgoeus stone. Cant wait to see what you choose!!!

ok, I''ve been trying for the last 2 days to get some nice pics of this stone....it is impossible!!!!! No matter which setting I use, flash or no flash, I keep getting a big spark of shiny rainbows! I would like to capture the facet pattern, but its really difficult!
if you look a few posts above, you''ll see some better pics from the seller......

You can spot the culet in this one. LOVE IT!

You don't even need a setting. Don't you just want to leave it loose, so you can hold it, and stroke it while whispering "my preciousssssss"...?

last one for now.....I had to put it on my foot! I needed two hands to hold the camera steady, cuz all the pics were coming back blurred!

Oooh! I''m blinded! It''s beautiful!

thanks Jelly and Mercol and Musey.....but I am not very pleased with my pics. I''ll keep trying for some better ones. I have another camera, but I can''t figure out how to upload it!

What a pretty stone, it seems bigger to me than .7. I am sure however you set it will be beautiful, I myself really love that last Bev K setting.

I know you weren't Musey, sorry if that didn't translate well when I posted that - my apologies.

..love the criss cross of the shank, but I am not feeling the love on the prongs...they look thinck, heavy and clunky to me. I love the fluid claw prongs much more....not sure if Tacori would modify that or not....

I have this ring and I just posted a thread on it and it''s up towards the top named, blingage pix and lots of ''em. The prongs are not bulky at all I can barely even see the tips of them over my diamond.

hope this helps a bit.

thanks Sabina,

yes, I looked at your thread....your ring is beautiful! and the prongs look perfect! It must just be the pic from Tacori, before they cut and file down the prongs.
I''m so glad they turn out so pretty.....so the Tacori rings are still a contender, LOL.

Hey jet! How goes the setting search? I can''t wait to see this beauty in its permanent home!!

Looooove this stone!

I had saved this pic from some PSer''s thread from a few years back, and while I don''t remember the stats, I remember her saying he does work with "smaller" stones.
