Anyone bought or even seen Stuller''s new X1 white metal? How does it compare visually to palladium, if you have seen the X1?

Yes! My three stone is in a stuller setting made with the X1 14K and I love it! I did not want platinum, so my jeweler/friend told me that he could get a setting that is made with the whitest white gold that he had ever seen and I would never need to have it rhodium plated. I have been wearing my ring everyday for just about a year, and it is still as white as it was the day I got it.

Any ring maker can use it but if they will is another matter.

Thanks Storm. I ordered a thin plain band in X1 today. I just had to. It should be in in a few weeks. Will update.

I will be interested to see what you think. I have heard great things. No replating necessary, apparently.
