So I think I have finally found THE ring that i was looking for:

3.00 carat
H
VS1
Price: $ 23k
The band is platinum setting and i feel
Like it will be great for when i choose to upgrade the solitaire later in the future.

Please chime in and give your opinion?? I would really really appreciate all responses

If I had a stone that warm (looks like an L to me), I'd set it in gold rather than platinum.

GIA doesn't do appraisals.

I am certainly no expert but that still looks much lower than H color to me...

Could be an M, N or O, actually. My diamond is an L, and it doesn't look as yellow as this one, except sideways in the sun.

It also appears to have dead areas and lots of flashes that don't have specific shapes. If you love it, our opinions shouldn't matter.

So i have asked the jeweler to provide me with the GIA report for what he is saying to be sure. Aso he dis take me outside in the day light and the diamond was sparkling !!! He is indeed a reputed jeweler so i doubt if he would lie about the specs? But again i am no expert so this is def concerning me

so as it turns out that you guys were right!! the jeweler said it is "done by a graduate GIA Gemologist" but a actual certified diamond will cost more !!! ugh!! i am so glad i posted the picture here and asked you folks, thank you!!

can any of you please help me find a 3 carat oval eye clean diamond . I dont wana compromise on the dimensions, if you could help me find 12.00 X 8.5 and up?

All i care about is it being eye clean and certified!!

My budget is no more than 20K and i am fine with I color , i could go may be a J but i want it to set on a silver setting not a gold so i am afraid it will look bad?
