just wondering what anyone thinks of this stone. I have searched high and low on pricescope, an invluable tool for the harried groom to be.
I found this stone and it seems OK. As it has a GIA cert - i don't currently have crown and pavillion angles - i will after an appraisal but I am just wondering about pulling the trigger on it. (gotta buy it before I can get it appraised although a reputable dealer with a liberal return policy)
Radiant Cut
.88 Carats
G color
VS2 clarity
Symmetry Good
Polish Good
Eye clean - small crystal is primary grader
Depth 77.3 % (yeah, a bit high puts it into AGA grade 3B
Table 64 % ( AGA 1B)
Strong Blue Flouresecence - a concern but stone did not appear milky or cloudy in sunlight or normal room lighting.
Full GIA cert.
$1925
Looking for a recangular stone - most seem to be closer to square. Found one other good one on pricescope - it is lower in color (H) and clarity SI2 (EGL cert), but it does have better depth (60.6)and table (63) percentages. About same size .92 ct. It is comparable in price.
Any comments would be appeciated.
