I'm curious to know if anyone can recommend any custom jewelers in the south Florida area (Jupiter, Fl-WPB-Fort lauderdale-Miami) who can do nice pave work, possibly a round halo style? Maybe French set/fishtail style? Not looking for LM/VC/SK Level, as I know I won't find that, but just nice work.

I recommend Provident Jewelry! There are several locations across South Florida, including Jupiter, West Palm Beach, Naples, and Wellington. We purchased my ring from the Jupiter location and were extremely happy with the customer service there. If you visit their website's Custom Jewelry section, http://www.providentjewelry.com/index.php?route=provident/customjewelry, you can upload an inspiration picture (if you have one), and someone will reach out to you from their team. We didn't do custom when we bought my set, but we bought estate, and their jeweler did a great job on resizing my pavé e-ring and matching band. It was a significant re-size. I think the ring was originally 7.5-8, and it went down to a 4.75. Additionally, if you end up losing a pave stone out of your setting, they will replace the missing stone(s) for free for the lifetime of the ring, and if you purchase your diamond from them and choose to upgrade in the future, they will credit your new stone with the amount you originally purchased your old stone for, and you just pay the difference and exchange the stones.

Since I didn't go custom and don't know what your budget is, I can't speak to the prices of their custom work, but they are an extremely reputable and well-known name in the Palm Beaches. Their pieces are often featured in editorials for high-end magazines like Jupiter Magazine, Palm Beach Illustrated, and Naples Illustrated. They really carry some great pieces, but they can work with a budget. We never felt as though we were being pressured to buy from them, and when we had them pull my set from another location, it was taken off the website and they told us they would hold it for us as long as we needed (no deposit required). They also offer a discount if you're paying in cash.
