That info is a good start. However, most here will need more info such as crown and pavillion angles which can give a more complete pic on whether this is a good deal. You should have that info on the AGS cert. You used it for the HCA, so share with us. I think the price looks very good. (I am not an expert) You might want to run a price search on here to see how it stacks up against prices for other similar cuts and color and clarity combos. Sorry not to be too much help. But, I can't see the diamond in question, and I ain't psychic, so need more info.

No serious reason, really.

There are a few others in the same size and price range... but one AGS0 is about as good as any other. IS this piece a H&A cut?

no it's not an H&A cut.

I think I may have found a better diamond but is it a better value???

You don't say what the clarity is on the new stone, but assuming it is a comparable VS2, there isn't much real difference that I can see in these stones by the numbers. The pavilion angle is slightly lower, but they both have good combos of pav and crown angles. Trying to pick the better HCA is splitting hairs in this range. Your best bet is to look at idealscope pictures, get details on the inclusions (althougth VS2 is pretty safe, so there shouldn't be problems there), compare the diameters -- is one going to look large than the other, etc. The HCA is a screening tool, not the definitive answer. Anything under 2 is promising. You have to look at the rest of the stones' info and how they look to you to differentiate in this range.

HERE's one that is. Given higher color, clarity and more details known about cut, this other pieve sounds better to me. What "value" is, only you can know - the meaning is your choice, of course.
