Just wanted to tell you about the character I made last night that is annoying my husband, the DM, to no end, hehe.

Her name is Yolo Baggins and is a halfing bard going through a mid-life crisis. She specializes in rapping and beat boxing positive affirmations to other players. What the group doesn't know yet is that she has a split personality and her crazy side is going to come out in the next round of playing

We also have another halfing who has a giant toad companion; but the toad is a thug, body guard, type. Freaking hilarious.

What's the best character you've ever created?

That's just....brutally painful....wrong on so many levels....just wrong.

Love it. I just played a female barbarian (half orc) because I primarily played a different game (gamma world) and felt that would be easier to not get killed and level up than a mage or half/half characters.
I know my husband had some favorite characters but I won't embarrass him.
If you haven't picked up Ready Player number one, a good read esp for us nerds in our 40's!

DH regularly plays. Like, 3 times a week. Each night is a different version. Original, and then specific editions. He also plays other RPGs. Thankfully he has them lined up with my other events. So like two of them line up with my boxing nights, etc. But it has gotten a little excessive. He found an online community for RPG.

Literally as soon as I shared this thread with him, he sent me those, Like IMMEDIATELY. He was like "OLD NEWS."
