Any harm in using jewelry cleaning liquid too often?

Is there any harm in using ammonia free jewelery cleaning liquid to clean your platinum diamond pieces too often? Is there such a thing as too often? Thanks!

So I take it the jewelry cleaning solution would not erode the metal or the diamond over time?

platinum and diamond should be fine. I would be more wary with plated gold pieces, as ammonia can facilitate erosion of the plating
