Any good way to sell a stone?

Just curious... if I have a stone from a place that doesn't have an upgrade policy, are there any good ways to sell it in the future for close to its value? Or trade it for something else?

Nope, the best you can hope is to sell on ebay, etc. Selling back to a jeweler, you will be luck to get back 50% of what you paid for, usually more like 30-40%.
