I'm a longtime lurker, but I manage a pediatric gene therapy research lab using different viral vectors as our gene modifying agents. So, I might fit the bill.

Hi Dazzle. Thanks so much for responding. If you don't mind my picking your brain...


My friend has the following questions (1) what are the steps in a sequencing virus (2) what are the steps in creating an antiviral agent. 3) In a hypothetical scenario: if someone wanted to cause a permanent gene mutation in a person (an extensive one) how would they stop the body from reverting or rejecting the mutation (if it is even possible).? 4) would a virus be a viable method of delivery for such a mutation?
