Any comments on this carved turquoise?

Bought this one 1984 in London as a christmas present for my wife. She loves the stone but has never decided on what to do with it. It is 22 millimeters high and about 17 mm at the widest spot. Suggestions welcome.

Color is lovely. I''d keep it as is--just take it out and admire from time to time.

Could it be set against a lightish background so that it would look like a cameo? Although I''m not sure how you would attach it.

Actually I have been thinking of yellow gold and diamonds in combination with the turquoise as a pendant in some way. Prolly have to make some drawings...
