Antwerp diamond market?

There have been a few comments made about the antwerp diamond market does anybody know more about this and is it worth a visit?

Am I likely to get a better deal there than over the internet from the USA

Good question. I know of someone who bought in Antwerp and found good value and an incredible buying experience but it also seems like a an environment where newbies would be easy pickings. Interested to see what you find out.
