I don't know anything about the ring? online i read there is no such this as antique white gold jewlry? and sometimes i see a ring that say platnium white gold ?I can't find one online quite like it .I want to find out more about it? the pawnshop said its 10k gold with a diamond.another member said its an antique butter cup ring.they do look simular but I can't find another one that has this same diamon setting? and the pearl setting seems unique? maybe its was custom made? is there a good way to reasearch the ring?
Quick internet search turns up that white gold became popular starting in the 1920s. Don't know whether that fits your definition of "antique" but rings from that time are certainly considered vintage.
You can search ebay for "pearl diamond bypass ring" (and add the word "vintage" for another search) and come up with a few things. Nothing looks exactly like yours, but you can at least get an idea. The 10K ones are pretty modestly priced.
WOuld you be able to back up just a bit on your picture to show the sidestones better and clearer? They look a little like rose cuts to me at some angles but they could just be single cuts. I can't be sure from the photo.
Have you tried having the metal tested again by someone else and just ask them what metal it is and don't ask about gold or silver or anything?
The reason you can't find them now is because those style buttercup heads are not common nowadays.
