Hey all,

Can you guys list some sources for antique inspired wedding bands? They can be eternity or not. I just don't think I'm looking in the right spot. I do like the ones with the alternating shapes, i.e. round-marquise-round

Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks!

AWESOME list, Enerchi - you hit all the ones I would have recommended, and then some.

You can also occasionally find them on Rubylane, but they're not typically customizable. And I think LOGR carries them periodically. Hope you come back and post pics of whatever you choose!

Ooo thanks Enerchi and Circe! I am in the process of getting a 0.87 ct H VS1 OEC, bought at JBEG, set in their signature Bella Halo...So excited! I wanted to explore some options to go with my ring :)

What do you guys think about this one to go with it? Sorry if the size is humongous...

I think that would be a perfect band to go with an OEC in a JbEG Bella :halo:

Yea...and unfortunately it's about the same as the diamond we're purchasing without the setting! I wish there were more affordable bands around or under $2000 that are still within that antique look.

Is your E-ring setting WG or Plat?

Hi BeeCushion,

The setting will be done in Platinum :)

Thanks...just wondering because that will dictate the metal of your WB and plat is obv more expensive. I've been looking at antique styles too and happen to love BK...but some of the prices are so high!

I knowwww...I like the one with the round and emerald eternity. Seems like LOTS of vendors do the round-marquise-round look...not so appealing to me anymore UNLESS they use marquise cut diamonds instead of round stuck in a marquise setting.

Me too, I like something like this:

http://idjewelryonline.com/product_info.php?cPath=53_137&products_id=35729

Technically this is set with baguettes...but I like the look of round alternating with a step cut. I'm getting an asscher and I'm thinking the rounds will add some sparkle but the step cuts will compliment the main stone. I've been contemplating going with WG (to save $$$) even though my ER will be plat....I've read mixed reviews on here about doing it. Some people are afraid the plat will eat away at the WG, while others think it will be fine. And then other concerns are more about the color diff between WG and plat, esp if the WG yellows over time. But, if there are stones in the band with little metal showing, I feel like this isn't as much of an issue either. On top of all that, I might like the look of a small spacer too, maybe even in RG to change things up, so there's so much to think about!

ETA: When you said emerald eternity did you mean emerald cut or like the colored stone? At first I thought you meant the cut but now I'm thinking otherwise...either way, both beautiful. I also like that look but maybe with sapphires or rubies. I'll just start collecting stackers, haha

Haha, that is exactly the one I was thinking of! My bad for saying emerald cut! I don't know if I'll start a stacker yet; the Bella is seriously enough for me! I wanted something vintage and dainty but once I saw the Bella, I knew that was it! :) I'm thinking of sticking with platinum for the WR though...Less maintenance because I don't need to get it redipped. Do any of you know how much Single Stone settings can run?

I was just thinking the same thing...I like when the non-round shapes are actually the shape of the outline, not the little rounds stuck in there. Unfortunately for that you'll probably have to go custom or get lucky with an antique.

I want to collect stackers too! JbEG had a gorgeous French cut baguette/round stacker that sold a while back. That would be dreamy with an OEC Bella too.

Dunno about cost for singlestone. Many of the antique bands on Israel Rose go for around 1-2k so that's probably more reasonable. http://www.newyorkestatejewelry.com/wedding-bands/4/21/all/all/cat

Oh yes, I did see that one...just wish it wasn't almost $5K for it! I wonder if they'll set it in a smaller carat weight for half the price? Hmm maybe I'll ask. Have you shopped with Israel Rose before? I've never heard of them but thank you for the link :))

Brian gavin sells a mq/round wb. Im sure you could just ask him to pop on some millgraining

Single Stone is quite pricey unfortunately. $5-10k for their bands I believe. They list prices on their items at 1st Dibs and Greenwich Jewelers websites.

Woot, another lover of antique style jewelry! I've also been on the hunt for a lovely antique style ring.

I'm personally thinking about settling on this band from James Allen, with a few customizations:

Gabriel and Co also has some nice antique styles:
