Does anyone know anything about this stamp - might be antique?
I think (dont know for sure) it's purchased somewhere between 1920-1980's.
Stamp is as pictured, almost looks like a butterfly.
The stamp is placed on a earring (stud - 20K solid white gold - stamp 835).
835 is usually Silver .. but this is made of white gold and got the stamp 835 anyways.
The stamp 835 were used in Germany for 20K white gold a long time ago.
I dont know when they stopped using this 825 stamp for white gold in Germany, so I cant date the stud exactly.
Regarding the 20K white gold + the diamond quality - it tells me that it were purchased for something special or as a special gift.
The stud is holding a diamond of:
Clarity: FL (Flawless)
Color: D (River)
Carat Weight: 0.14 carats
Measurements: 3.18 x 3.18 x 2.08 mm
Cut: Not as nowadays Round Brilliant's, neither is it "Old European Cut", but the symmetry and polish is PERFECT!
Someone got any idea?
