I''m getting an art deco/edwardian platinum ring, and I don''t have it in person yet, but I saw it in person, and now I''m looking at the zoomed in pictures and I think that there might have been milgrain on the original ring, but it''s worn off after so much use. Should I ask the jeweler to redefine the milgrain? I''m already having them polish it, and I do trust this particular jeweler having seen his handwork in person.

Should I mess with it, or will I be sorrrry? Is reversing milgrain a pain in the ass?

Thanks!
