Was just going through a old jewellery box and I stumbled across these earrings. On the one half of the earring is a noble lion which probably represents the Dutch East Indies and on the other half is a volcano erupting with the date I believe to be 1883 which makes sense because the massive Krakatoa volcano erupted that year. So were these earings made just after the volcano or decades later and would they be very collectable?
