Next month, my partner and I are traveling to London to shop for an antique engagement ring. We're looking for an Edwardian - early Art Deco era platinum ring with side stones, and a fiery old mine or european cut center stone of 1.25 - 2.00 cts.
Can anyone recommend places to look?
Gray's Antique Center and the Portobello Market arcade are on the list. Hatton Garden is on our radar, but not sure which dealers would have a large inventory of antique rings. I've contacted Brganza and found them to be extremely unhelpful.
I'm also looking to sell or trade a 1ct. radiant cut (GIA Certified) and some gold, so recommendations on where to go for that are also appreciated.
Thanks!
