A friend of mine and her husband are going to get her a new wedding set for their anniversary and after thinking about it for a while she's decided she would like a 1920s deco era piece. A true antique, vs a repro.

Leigh Jay Nacht -- www.antiqueengagementrings.com as they have a lot of originals mixed in with their repros. I was extremely impressed with their customer service.

They could also try Fourtane (http://www.fourtane.com/products-page/estate/), although it's more of a B&M store than an online store, and also extremely high end (aka gorgeous stuff that costs a lot). I don't know what budget your friends have. The store has a good reputation, I believe.
