I am considering purchasing this.

I want to resize down to 4.25, it's currently 5.5. The stone looks super deep, I wonder if it would look too gaudy on me. Stone is 10x9mm

Any thoughts? I really like the high crown on the stone.

I think it comes down to how comfortable you are wearing a larger stone. If you can rock it with confidence then I would go for it.

I think it looks like a nice size for that style of ring on you. It looks less gaudy because it does not have a bunch of side stones. And the bezel gives it a tidy appearance.

I think it’s pretty I have a 12.5x11 antique cushion I enjoy wearing when I’m feeling extra fancy!

If you dig the high crown, go for it! But resizing down might mess with the proportions. I'd say check with a jeweler if it won't affect the bling factor too much. Also, 10x9mm is a decent size, but if it feels too much, trust your gut.

My overall recommendation would be to try on the ring in person if possible, to see how the size, depth and overall look and feel of the stone works with your hand and personal style. Getting a professional jeweler's opinion could also be helpful.
