Making a separate thread for my ACC diamond. It is 3.71 carats, M color, EGL USA. It's in a french cut, platinum setting, 1.72 of french cuts. The diamond is from OWD.

10.23 x 9.23 x 4.98 - faces up much larger than its carat weight. I know it's a bit shallow but it's an amazing stone and estimated to be over 100 years old. I love it!

Thank you everyone! The french cuts are J-K and the new band will have 2.5mm french cuts also J-K. I'm going to have a whole lotta frenchies on my finger .

I am so curious what it looks like with a band! Most PSers with the tapered frenchie rings wear them as a standalone ring. When will the band be ready

Frenchies are like my other most favorite diamonds now lol. DK sent me the band (minus stones) so I could see how it fits with the ring. It fits perfectly flush and looks amazing!

Yep full eternity - I couldn't stand seeing the "bottom" if it spins. I work from home (paralegal) and am very careful - take them off when I sleep, when I shower, wear dish gloves when I get hands wet, take them off for chores around our acreage, etc.

I'm not sure of the total carat weight yet, but I'm guessing I'll have somewhere near the 8 carat mark on my ring finger

His engraving and milgrain is top notch. When I had the stone set at a high end jewelry store in Omaha, the woman said their main engraver was commenting how nice the engraving was - then she was showing everyone lol. I'll take some photos today - well I'll try as I am not very good (sigh).
