Another pawn shop pearl necklace

Hi all!
I went back to the pawn shop to get another look at a necklace that I passed by last time.
I kept thinking about it, and decided to go back and rescue it. It was $189, but I bargained down to $90. The pearls are 10mm, on a 24" 14k white gold sparkle chain. The pawn shops can't move pearls around here. I must be the only one who looks at them!

It's different, isnt it? I just couldn't leave it there.
Assuming it's in the original box, then it was from a high end jeweler in my town.
The pearls are blemish free with beautiful smooth skin.
The Tahitian has pink and green overtones, hard to capture in photos.
The SS pearl is especially nice. At least I think it's SS! Too big at 10mm to be akoya?

Any indication on the age of the piece?

It looks modern to my untrained eyes.

The white pearl does not look like SSP to me, however I could be wrong. Still a bargain whatever it is.

It looks modern to me, too.
And the chain alone weighs 3.5 grams, so I got it for under scrap value.
Under a loupe, the surface of the white pearl looks more like akoya than anything else.

I don't know. It sure looks like a Tahitian to me. My phone refuses to capture the pinks and greens.

I was referring to the white pearl as I too believe the black one is a Tahitian pearl based on the photos alone.

The chain is marked 585 14k Italy Aurafin.
But the connectors look like unplated white gold with a yellow tinge. Hmmm
And this from a high end jeweler. Maybe this was made custom for someone who picked out the chain and pearls separately.

To my eye, it looks like Tahitian and Akoya. Very pretty on you, @stracci2000, and I concur with others, that you find the best things! So glad you share them with us.
