Just beginning to learn a little about diamonds. I want a new engagement ring upgrade for my wife of many years.
Also would like some help with a new ring. We found a ring we really like at Blue Nile but they won't make it for someone else's center stone. This seems to be a fairly common practice.

Here are the links to the two diamonds I'm considering, any advice will be appreciated.

Link for the ring we liked at BN:

Both stones are gorgeous, and you can't go wrong with either one,

Talk to the vendors. I'm sure either could make a ring or already have a similar concept for the ring.

Congratulations on being post 100,000 on rocky talk. Sorry I have no diamond advice but consider this a bump.

Had no idea, do I get a prize? :)

Since the ring design I like is at Blue Nile I wanted opinion on a stone from there. When I look at the arrow pattern on the actual stone from BN it doesn't look as good.

I tried to post a link but it seems the links to BN don't work for me. Anyway it is a 2.55 carat signature stone.
LD06000197 is their stock number.

BN has a lot of diamonds and it take a long time to go through them all, plug into HCA and examine the certificates. Excellent stones are there, but it takes work.

With VC and HPD you already know the stone is amazing. It is a much easier process.

With BN, go ahead and link it. You have to copy
and paste or there is a different step with a PC you can do.

Post the link for me please.

I have made several diamond purchases with BN and while it took a long time to find them, I have been very pleased with them all.

I tried to post the link but it didn't take me to the Stone. I'm posting it again below but if it doesn't work, its very easy to find ... go to 2.55 carat signature round and it will be the only one.

Thanks, I had never used that tool before. I did notice that some of the specs were out of the recommended range.
