Another 2 stone comparison

Well, I have searched and searched and have 2 diamonds coming in the mail....considering the prices are 12400 and 12900, which would you pick ?? cheaper stone is the si1, vs2 is sl more. Also the pav angle is 40.3, i apologize the cert is very very hard to read.

Here is the Vs2 stone cert, this stone was commented on as being H & A' I have no images yet to confirm this

I'd take stone 1. The angle combo is better.

Although the HCA score for stone 2 is below 2, it is a wee bit shallow and has a larger table and thus, falls out of both the AGS0 and GIA Ex boxes. It could still be a very pretty stone though - an Idealscope would be able to help determine that.

Don''t know...is it only me gettin an error message for #1 when running the HCA. With #2, whiners here don''t seem to like the big table and mis-match between plots for AGS, GIA, and your cross hairs.

Got it (I''d swapped table & depth!). The look of #1 may be more normative, and could get extra weight, but both are options.

Whine away, I am ok with that it is the cheaper stone, and except for the faint cloud depicted there, it is very clean. We''ll see if it is eye clean from all angles....

If the SI1 stone is eye clean from all angles, I''d take that one. It''s well cut and why pay for the extra clarity you can''t see.
