No, I generally stick to money earned from selling pieces I'm no longer wearing and using that money. Instead of just adding more I consider what I'm doing "curating"![]()
No budget although I like to purge and sell to buy new pieces if said pieces are over 500 dollars. Lately though, it’s getting harder and harder to purge bc I really like my collection.
I actually have limited things I want, so I’m just buying as there is extra money. I have assured my husband that I do not want all the jewelry in the world lol.
Though I have a hankering for rubies lately....
I've also been tempted by rubies this year. But I haven't found anything quite right yet. I've still got some room in my budget, so I'm on the hunt for the right piece.
I believe it was gemfix and AJs who had lots of nice rubies. Of course, good ones are more expensive than diamonds.
Don’t have a budget, I don’t actually neeeeeed, anything but I’m getting a bracelet for my bracelet.
Thanks for the tip! Sorry to ask a stupid question, but how do I find gemfix and AJs? I don't see them under Featured Sponsors.
On the colored stones board, they have a vendor list.
Here, since I’ve been looking, I had links handy. I haven’t bought from gemfix but I did get my sapphire studs from AJs

Thanks, whitewave. I think I'm developing a Pricescope addiction. Does that happen to everyone when they first join? Does it wear off??

$5000 a year not counting gifts for occasions. I've just gotten a dedicated bling account and was so excited I bought a lot of smaller things instead of saving up for a larger piece. Whoopsie...now I have to save, but every ask for gift ideas will be met with "money in the bling account" from now until forever.
Curious if people rather buy a few smaller things vs. saving up for a larger piece?
