It is with great sadness and regret that we announce Diamond Ideals has been terminated from participating on Pricescope.
Yesterday afternoon, during routine moderation of the forum, we discovered that Diamond Ideals has seriously breached the forum policies: some posts and testimonials written by supposed consumers actually originated from personnel of Diamond Ideals. This breach has the potential to compromise the integrity of the information presented here. Because that integrity is fundamental to the success of this community, we must take any steps possible to preserve it and enforce our own rules no matter whether it relates to Pricescope advertisers or any other members of the trade.
We wish to underline that this termination doesn't concern products or services provided to consumers but solely related to breaching the rules of the community.
This termination encompasses the following: Diamond Ideals will not be allowed to advertise at Pricescope. Accounts that breached the rules are closed and testimonials generated by these accounts will be removed as well as all the posts, which reference Diamond Ideals.
It's not our intent to hinder your ability as consumers to share the joy of your diamonds and rings with others. To those of you who’ve purchased pieces and posted pictures to share with the community here, we’ll allow five days to edit your posts to remove the Diamond Ideals name or names of their staff from your posts so they can remain here for all to enjoy. I encourage you to do so in a timely manner; posts that haven’t been modified during that window will be removed automatically.
Pricescope team realizes that this will be difficult for many of you who've been posted favorable testimonials about them in good faith; it was a difficult decision for us to make. We assure you it was done with great contemplation. We ask for your support in understanding why this step is necessary to the health of Pricescope, and I ask you to respect the terms of this termination. If you have comments about this action, we’d welcome the chance to hear from you via email or PM.
