Last weekend was our wedding anniversary. This year I decided to reset my original engagement ring into a 18k rose gold pave setting. It took me a long time to decide what I wanted to do with my original engagement ring. It was originally in a standard six prong stuller setting. We spent most of our budget on the diamond so the setting wasn't the focus.
I got my upgrade last year so my engagement ring pretty much sat in the bank safe for a year. I went from wanting a graduated five stone to a halo to a simple solitaire. I eventually decided on a solitaire because that's what I truly love.
I reached out to Brilliantly Engaged and Chris was more than helpful. The whole process didn't take too long and he responded to my 1,000 emails very quickly. I got the finished ring late last week and am very impressed with the craftsmanship. It's so delicate yet so bling. The small prongs are beautifully done. It's the perfect home for my Brian Gavin Blue.
My sister loves my setting so much she's getting the same one without diamonds on the shank (such a copy cat
)
Stats:
Center Stone: Brian Gavin Blue 1.22 ct G SI1 medium blue flour
Ring Setting: Brilliantly Engaged Modified Claudette setting in rose gold. Diamonds on the basket and 3/4 eternity, 1.7 mm shank, ring size 4.5
It's so hard to take picture since this ring is so dainty. But here goes...
I have cream walls at home and the rose gold makes the stone looks a bit tinted. It's a G color so it's pretty icy white against the rose gold in real life.
