Hi again guys,
As IDJ is doing my u-prong eternity, I am considering getting a tennis bracelet. When I went to order my eternity, I dealt with what seems to be a new associate because Yekutiel was busy. I feel like should have insisted on dealing with Yekutiel himself in the ordering process, but didn't want to kick up a fuss; plus I feel confident that since they are making my band with PS quality stones and Yekutiel himself is doing it (I asked repeatedly) I will be happy. (I had my e-ring resized, too, and spoke with Yekutiel directly when I went to pick it up yesterday, and he apologized in fact for not helping me directly in the first place). When I was ordering the eternity band I asked about a 3-prong tennis bracelet and the associate was trying to sell me on one that they had below the counter. My immediate instinct was absolutely not: the diamonds mounted on the clasp looked rather crooked and although I didn't have a very close look at the stones they are clearly not PS-quality. She warned me repeatedly that a custom piece would cost more than this one. Needless to say, I didn't get the best feeling from our interaction.
What do people think of this? Have those with IDJ tennis ever gotten a prefabricated one or has everyone gotten custom bracelets? And what about your clasps?
