After many months of looking for the perfect coin (Shekel of Tyre minted in Christ's lifetime), my fi's pendant is finally done. We love it. Thank you to all the posters that gave their imput on the bezel and the gold. He decided to go with 14k yg and have the bezel follow the shape of the coin. The bezel is all hand done and came out great. Thank you David Klass. DK suggested a puff box link chain and it is perfect. It is 2mm wide and looks substantial without being uncomfortable to wear.

Very unique. It's nice to wear a piece of history.

Can we see a neck shot? Thanks.

Wow - that is super cool.

Here you go...please excuse the wrinkled shirt. When we were married the first time, I gave him a gold St Christopher medal as a wedding gift. Even after we split, he wore it for years until it was lost during a hike. He was telling me the story of how upset he was when it was lost. He had forgotten that I was the one that gave it to him.

So Nonie, i missed your story-the coin is a gift for your ex whom you are re-marrying? The coin is amazing, and the bezel looks awesome. What a great gift and story!
