Hi all -

I'm trying to learn to analyze ASET images and idealscope images for my own use. I've found a lot of talk about little dark spots around the arrows, but I have never seen a dark patch along one side, like this one has at 9 o'clock. Can't find any articles out there talking about that sort of image either. What do you all think?

Those are inclusions...go look at the AGS/GIA report and they should be on there.

oh duh, i feel dumb! should have noticed from the original image that those lined up. thanks!

You are looking at the right things to learn. That's a perfect ASET image!

Learning is a good thing...we all have those "oh Duh" moments but as long as we learn form them who cares? I think it just shows
that you were deep in thought about the light return shown by an aset ...you just needed to zoom out some and look at some
other images/docs for comparison. No biggy...

thanks you guys! really appreciate it! as someone who appreciates aesthetics and loves data, i could see this becoming quite the addictive hobby...
