I guess I was literal. Sorry.
I do find it hard to get jokes sometimes online.
Peace.

Too literal on the internet. Hmm. Sounds like a bad curse for a poet or a teacher. If you think this is bad, stay off of those social networking sites. ::shivers::
There are some inclusions that can be cute though, like a group of pinpoints in a neat shape. I know feathers are technically cracks, but they don''t tend to bother me much either, all in moderation. It''s mainly the seed-like carbon inclusions. When someone said gray diamonds, I agree. I enjoy some color, but it needs to be a clean ivory or pale cream-yellow for me to like, nothing muted or muddy.
I agree with Todd Gray and his story. The ice must be nice because he''s there.

I have it on good report that the ice at Nice Ice is very nice![]()
I agree with you on the 'gray' diamonds. I've seen those. They are like deep pools of rainwater on dirty cement. No sparkle, strange color. But why? Is it the cut? Is it the color of the rough?
I would love to see this diamond Wink, any pics?????Date: 3/18/2010 12:52:08 PM

I once had a 2ct steel gray emerald cut diamond that was one of those incredible once in a life time things to see. It was magnificent and I wish sometime in my lifetime to see another so beautiful. It was extraordinarily well cut, especially for an emerald cut diamond in those times, back in the late 1970''s. It looked like liquid steel with large rainbows of dispersion when tilted just right. Oh, and did I mention that I fought with GIA for months over whether or not the one pinpoint that kept it from being flawless was actually visible at 10x. I had to crank my scope up to 25x before I could see it, barely, but alas, I could never convince them that they should adhere to their own grading standards and it was declared a VVS1.
Now a dirty gray caused by inclusions, that I agree is horrible, but a true steely looking gray color is a joy to behold!
