Haven’t posted much about this as I did not need another ring (failure in the restraint front on my part - big time) but a few weeks ago I purchased a light yellow brown 3 carat Asscher from Alex Parks and the ring arrives today. I asked him to set it in a high polish Alex Park style 4 prong. I oddly didn’t want to bump the color with gold - I was really trying to keep the soft, almost clover honey color I saw in the videos. It is a 7.86x7.87 with medium fluoresce to help that brown tint.

These are stills from videos, that’s why they aren’t perfectly pixel sharp. I will post hand shots later today.

I’m so excited for you and can’t wait to see your pictures!

Ring arrived from NYC and love at first sight. Alex set the stone low in his elegant split shank setting and the color is just a soft hue - nothing overly dark. You can see it with a G asscher eternity and on its own. The photos above are indoor light.

This next batch are in overcast outdoor light.

That's a beautifully cut stone and I love the contrast between the white metal and the honey-brown of the diamond. ❤️ Is that platinum or white gold?

It looks so cool and sleek with your stack, too!

Thank you - it’s platinum. The stack is platinum except for the rope style spacer, 14k WG. Went with that metal so the spacer band can withstand the eternity band a bit more than platinum would.

That is so lovely! Wear it in good health.

Yay, pictures! This is unique and lovely! Honey-colored is an apt description or ginger-colored to match your ginger cat (I have one, too!). :)

Very pretty! I really like the simplicity of the setting too. Matches kitty perfectly!

Love the cut, color and the kitty!

What a color! Beautiful ring and kitty too.

Oh so pretty!! I love the setting too!! Enjoy! She looks beautiful on you!

 You don't see me complaining, do you?!
What a lovely color, I also really dig his streamlined mountings.
Very chic.

Thank you. He’s kind of a derp, so he’s pulling regal off as a total facade, I assure you.

Thank you. Yes, Alex’s simple split shank is hard to beat while I live with the stone for a while and contemplate what a forever setting may be. Who knows, maybe this is the forever setting….

Congrats!!! Wow!!! Well done!
