I found an absolutely FANTASTIC pair of amethyst triangle-shaped (what''s the name for it?) studs set in 14K gold on eBay that I gave to my niece as a present for her last birthday. Amethyst is her birthstone and she had been hinting for a pair for a while. Even I was surprised at the quality and clarity of the stones and I was half-tempted to keep them! The price? I outbid everyone at the last minute for a mere $20!
