I love the older Asscher Cut Diamonds like that. It appears to be a turn of the century piece. The clover design might suggest Irish origin. Filgree setting with the Irish Clovers and Deep Thick Asscher Cut Diamond center stone ( which may make it more weight & increase value) and miner cut rounds on the sides. Lovely Ring!

That is no asscher cut IMO. It''s an old mine cut or some variation thereof.

Monica: I would bring it to an appraiser that specializes in antique diamonds. They will be able to tell you far more than we can with a few pictures. Great ring!

I''m also no expert, but I have looked at a lot of antique rings, and I''m fairly certain this is a large french cut. It''s beautiful.
