Sometimes it can be hard to find stones in certain sizes and colors. I''m not looking to buy (no money
) but I always scope out possible upgrades, and there are very few stones on WF in, for example, I and J VS2-SI1 at around .75ct. But there are tons in the virtual listings.
I personally would wait until my preferred vendor(s) would have what I am looking for, or call to ask them to put one on hold for me. But what if someone is anxious and wants a diamond asap, and doesn''t care about an upgrade policy?
My mother demands to know, of any product, "If it's so good, then why don't they sell it in stores??" She is usually right. If a PS vendor doesn't have it in stock, I'd tend to not bother with it.
