am I getting a good deal??

HI:

Why is the stone an SI2--meaning where/what are the inclusions--more to the point, will they propose a problem when setting?

I had a difficult time seeing whether the girdle was intact--but that could be just that, difficulty seeing. I know how challenging stones are to photograph!

The girdle is intact and there are some minor specs around the out side that I can see with my loop but nothing to the naked eye after looking at other si2 diamonds online I think that it is a si2 but like I said I can't see any major inclusions

Did you insure the stone? Have you found the setting you (both) want--and links to pictures/designs? Do you know her exact finger size?

This is a very beautiful setting--although there are quite a few variations, the style is feminine. Your stone will look very well in it.
Not sure a wedding band would sit flush, but perhaps that is not a concern for you.
