This is a vintage diamond and they are offering it to me for around $5,000(Sale Price).

Here are the Specs I remember with a GIA cert:

1.02 carat Round
H Color
VS2 clarity
Excellent rating for all Cut/Polish/Sym

Unfortunately I don't have the Cert number, it's at the store, but I remember those were the exact specs that were listed on the GIA Cert.

The basic characteristics of the diamond (size, color, etc.) are a good starting point, and the GIA excellent cut grade is very good. However, to get a better idea of the diamond, the cut proportions are important to see if there is anything potentially problematic.

Here are more detailed specs:

Table: 55%
Crown Angle: 35.0 deg
Crown Depth: 15.5%
Girdle: "medium"
Pavilion Angle: 41.0 deg
Pavilion Height: 43.0%
Total Depth: 62.4%

Am I missing anything? This is right off the GIA Cert

This scores a 2.3 on the HCA and it has potential. Due to rounding by GIA I would definately want to see an Idealscope image.
