Almost there - ERD Noel or BGD Michelle

So I spoke to both vendors and customizing Noel to have 2 pointers for a 2+ ct RB and taking BGD's michelle (already 2 pointers) and making it round - the price came out the same. Both would be 2mm width for shank and halo, diamonds on the basket.
Which would you go with and why? Which would have less metal?

Also, do you always prefer platinum over 18k? The cost of both settings is higher than what I would want to spend in platinum, more reasonable in 18K, but I could probably stretch to platinum.

You can see the pricing in Platinum, plus a few hundred more to accommodate the size of the center stone. Is that reasonable for a good CAD?

Just looking at the two settings, I prefer the ERD Noel, but I'd ask for the slightly curved struts seen on the BGD Michelle... and if this is a forever ring, I'd pop for platinum if I could stretch the budget.

the ada looks fantastic too and even more dainty... i would check with ERD on that too...

how much is ERD quoting you for the noel ?

I prefer the BGD Michelle. Something about the pave in the band/halo that is aesthetically more pleasing. Too much space in between the pave in the ERD Noel, if that's possible. Or, at least that is how it appears in the photo.
